What is a Grain Cooling System?
A grain cooling system is a technological solution used to prevent grain within a silo from spoiling and ensure its long-term, healthy storage. By lowering the grain's temperature, it protects against mold, insect infestation, and moisture problems.
Cooling is typically provided by fans and ducts at the silo base. Some systems use mobile cooling units.
Manufacturing and Application Stages
1. Air Circulation: The system directs the clean and cool air taken from outside into the grain mass.
2.Temperature Sensors: Grain temperature is checked regularly.
3. Humidity Balancing: Humidity level is also optimized along with cooling.
4. Automatic Control: It is activated automatically with PLC systems and provides ideal conditions.
