What are Manual Covers?
Manual gates are lid systems used to manually control material flow at silo outlets and conveying systems. They are operated by a mechanical lever, handwheel, or lever mechanism. They are preferred in applications where automation is not required.
Manufacturing and Assembly Stages
1. Design: It is designed with square or round cross-section depending on the need.
2. Production:- The body is made of sheet metal or casting, and the sliding mechanism is made of steel.
3. Installation:– It is installed under the silo, on conveyor connection points or intermediate discharge points.
4.Usage:- The user opens/closes the lid by turning or pulling the handle.
